About the Photographer "As a photographer, my job is to capture and celebrate life in all of its different stages. Whether photographing children or adults, simplicity is the key to a beautiful portrait. I prefer to photograph my subjects as naturally as possible. Capturing a true emotion on film requires patience, but is essential to a successful image and is what truly moves us about a portrait. Children are a great source of artistic inspiration. I believe the true spirit of a child is captured mid-laugh or at a serious moment. My favorite shots are usually the candid ones, when they're not even aware of the camera or lost in their own little world. In being able to capture and record those moments and then turn them into a true work of art, I believe I have the best job in the world."
